Banksy Tribute ..
Well we couldn't have a site about street art without paying homage to the street genius that is Banksy. In fact, it's safe to say our site wouldn't have existed at all had we not learnt of his amazing work. The discovery of his creative and thought provoking street art spurred something inside us. Intricate and beautiful stencil work that led to a passion. A passion that led to an obession. And an obsession that led to this little business.
Needless to say, when we found the above piece in an obscure laneway there was unhinged excitement. However, once the heart rate and pulse subsided, research confirmed it wasn't a Banksy. Dammit!!! So at this stage it'll have to be a trip to London, or a visit to Banksy's website to see the real thing.
But in all seriousness, we hope that by including this page and providing a link to his spectacular work, it ignites the same interest and passion in street art with you, as it has with us.
